The story of the Battle of Maga begins after the events of 1938 and the Great Arab Revolt (1936-1939). The settlement committee in 1939 decided that every Jew must learn how to defend himself. Among them are Imi Lichtenfeld, a Holocaust survivor. In 1948, Lichtenfeld was appointed the IDF's Chief Krav Maga instructor, and later became responsible for spreading Krav Maga around the world.
Today, Krav Maga is the most learned method of self-defense in the Western world, and the first choice of security units around the world.

As of the summer of 2018, 19 Taglit groups and 760 participants (40 participants per group), have experienced Israel through an intensifying Krav Maga activity. The activity took place in hotels in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Netanya, Ma'ale Hahamisha and Kibbutz Hukak. All of our instructors grew out of the school and have years of experience in contact and training.
